For your convenience, you can access the calendar for Old Town Hall usage above.  The calendar is updated by Heidi Barckholtz, Village Clerk. If you have any questions or would like to reserve the hall, please contact Heidi at the Village Office at (248) 627-4976 between the hours of 9:00 to 3:00 daily.

 

* Please Note for All Civic Groups using the Old Town Hall for 2011/2012 please review the calander and submitt to the Clerk your meeting dates.  Space will fill up quickly for the 2011/2012 school year.  Thank You!

          Village of Ortonville Emergency Minor Home Repair Program           

The Village of Ortonville through 2010 CDBG Funding has established an

Emergency Minor Home Repair Program for Low Income Village Residents.

This consists of 4, $1000.00 grants that are meant to help fix the essential systems of the home and maintain the "health and safety" of the residents.

Examples are but not limited to:  Furnace failure, septic system failure, well and or piping failure, water heater failure, or a roof, stairway, or porch in jeopardy of collapsing.

To Qualify:

* Must meet the HUD guidelines for low income

*Must show proof of home ownership

*Must provide proof of gross income for all family members

*Must complete an application

*Village Official must verify the repair

The Village will seek bids from licensed and insured contractors.

2011 Clean-Up and Recycling

 

Beginning in April, residents may take their recyclable items to the 14415 CMI Drive location in Groveland Township.  All collections will required an appointment and will be for Brandon Township (including Village) residents ONLY.  For a list of acceptable times for this recycling program please visit the Brandon Township web site at www.brandontownship.us.  To schedule your collection appointment call Brandon Township at (248) 627-4918.
